What OXSEA does
Refillable mini scuba tanks, and the gear to fill them yourself.
A simple need
Checking a propeller, freeing an anchor, picking up sunglasses dropped overboard: jobs of a few minutes that used to call for full scuba gear or a risky breath-hold. OXSEA mini tanks answer that need: a few minutes underwater without a full cylinder on your back.
The OX500
0.5 L, 200 bar, mouthpiece, built-in gauge. The manual pump refills it without electricity, on board or at home.
The range grows
The OX500Plus adds a harness, an external regulator and an external gauge. The OX1000 doubles the volume for longer jobs. The 12 V / 220 V mini compressor and the transfer station complete the refill options. The OXAIR mask arrives for snorkelling.
2023
The film and the tutorials
A presentation film is shot on board and under the hull. OXSEA School gathers the assembly, setting and maintenance videos in French, English, Spanish and Italian.

The new site
New site in five languages, shipping extended to the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States and Canada.
Three tanks
0.5 L or 1 L, at 200 bar. You refill them yourself.
What we check
A mini tank holds air compressed to 200 bar.
- A 6061 aluminium body
- The same alloy for all three tanks, sized for a 200 bar working pressure.
- A gauge on every tank
- Built in on the OX500, external on the OX500Plus and OX1000: you see the pressure before going down and during the dive.
- A burst disc
- It gives way before the tank does in case of overpressure. It can be replaced, and the video showing how is in OXSEA School.
- Tests before shipping
- Every tank goes through a leak and function check before it leaves.
- Parts that can be replaced
- Seals, membrane, filters, disc: wear parts change without special tools. We supply them.
- A refill you control
- Manual pump, mini compressor or transfer from a cylinder: three documented methods, with their real timings.
