Reference BT-OX500
You hold it in your mouth, no harness. You fill it yourself with the manual pump, the 12 V / 220 V mini compressor or from a dive cylinder with the transfer station.
Up to 8 minutes underwater, depending on your breathing, the depth and the effort. Aluminium body, leak-tested before shipping.
What for: checking a propeller, freeing an anchor, cleaning an anode, discovering underwater breathing in a pool or near the surface. No diving certification needed, but the safety rules in our guide apply.
Three ways to fill the OX500. The manual pump, no electricity, in around 20 minutes. The 12 V / 220 V mini compressor, in around 12 minutes. The DIN or yoke transfer station, connected to a dive cylinder, in around a minute.
The built-in gauge shows when the tank is full: stop at 200 bar.
The DIN or yoke transfer station is not included with this product.
Rinse the tank and its accessories with fresh water after every outing at sea or in the pool, then let them dry in the shade.
Check the regulator seals and the burst disc: they can be replaced in a few minutes, with a School tutorial to follow.
Never force a connector. If you hear a hiss, the leak-location video tells you where to look.

How do you refill the OX500?
With the manual pump (around 20 minutes, no electricity), with the 12 V / 220 V mini compressor (around 12 minutes) or from a dive cylinder with the DIN or yoke transfer station (around 1 minute).
Do I need a diving certification?
No. The OX500 is used without diver training, close to the surface. The safety rules still apply: breathe continuously, never hold your breath while ascending, ascend slowly. Our safety guide covers them.
What is the difference with the OX500Plus?
Same volume, same air time. The OX500Plus adds a harness, an external regulator and an external gauge so you can wear it on your back, hands free. It also takes the OXAIR mask.
Can I fly with the OX500?
Yes, with the tank completely empty, the valve head open or removed, and declared at check-in. Check your airline's policy before you leave.

Works perfectly
I tested it in our pool, and it works. I filled it with my compressor. You need to get used to the breathing, but it’s a quick learning curve. Runtime is 5 to 8 minutes, depending on the person. Can’t wait to try it in Hawaii next month.

My second mini tank. The first one was defective: a permanent leak, and it ended up on a shelf. The OXSEA one is the complete opposite: six uses in a few months, no leaks, no issues. I fill it with my compressor and get about 8 minutes. I couldn’t be more satisfied. I would buy again.
